Visitors had the previlige of tasting from a large varity of delicious Turkish food such as "baklava", "lahmacun", "dolma"s, traditional "börek"s, kebaps and "gozleme" which were prepared and cooked during the festival.. They also tasted delicious Turkish Coffee which was made and served hot during the festival with unique traditional coffee cups.. The festival was so colorful with so many vendors selling from scarves to traditional hand-made shoes, from jewelery to home-made jams and pickles.. Also, traditional Turkish arts' booths like Ebru (watermarbling) and calligraphy were the favorites of so many visitors! Artists demonstrated all day long.
Festival began with two speeches given by Representative Cesar Blanco and former Congressman Pete Gallego.
