The event will honor and recognize Houston’s multi-cultural diversity and international students enrolling at HCC.

Here it is again, our spring festival!

We invite you all to taste and shop delicious home-made Turkish appetizers, dishes, pastries and desserts! Baklava will be served all day long, yes!

Turkish tea and coffee..  Will be fresh made and served in traditional cups! Turkish delights (lokum) along with the coffee!

Unique traditional art demonstrations.. Ebru (watermarbling) and caligrahy booths will be demonstrating during the festival!

It will be a great day for kids, too! So many games and activities! Jumphouse, pony rides, clown shows, face painting and cartoonist.. Ice-cream, popcorn, lemonade, cotn candy, apple candy, popsickles and more!

Traditional Turkish music and folk dances..

Home-made bazaar, craft booths, guest organizations and vendors.. Turkish jewelery, clay art and ceramics..

The art experience includes Water Marbling (Ebru), and Calligraphy and regarding on food, participants will have chance to taste mouth-watering food such as Doner Kebab, Shish Kebab, Lahmajoun (Turkish Pizza), Icli Kofte (Meatballs stuffed with cracked wheat), Gozleme (Turkish Style Waffle), Manti (Turkish Dumplings), Baklava, Mezzes (Appetizers), Sarma (Stuffed Vine Leaves) and many more…

On behalf of Raindrop Turkish House, I would like to invite you to our signature event, Annual Nowruz Spring Festival on Saturday March 19-20, 2016 from 11:00 am. To 9:00 pm. at Turquoise Center in Houston Texas. The festival gives Turkic Countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan) the opportunity to showcase their singing and dancing talents in various performances while representing their own country. The countries will be showcasing their singing and dancing talent in their native language and culture at this first class Nowruz Spring Festival.

You and your guest will enjoy the live international music, dance and choreography performances in a warm and peaceful environment.
