I Can Still Shine Staff has been helping battered women and their kids in the DFW area for 19 years. We also help battered women coming from drug and alcohol rehab programs. We help over 500 women and children every year.
When women leave a violent home they don't know how they will survive. They've been told they can't make it on their own. We show them how they can.
The "I Can Still Shine Program" is a faith-based, safe, supportive center for women and children from all walks of life, with no exceptions. We provide our clients the opportunity to choose safety and protection over victimization, domestic violence, and drug abuse. We offer a new start to our women and children.
Raindrop Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit educational, charitable, social and cultural organization founded by Turkish-Americans in Houston in 2000. The purpose of these efforts is to assist, with all forms of aid, people in need and those affected by catastrophes such as earthquakes, floods, fires, etc. Embrace Relief's objective is "to provide aid and such services both domestically and internationally, despite race, religion and ethnicity, while giving priority based only on the level of seriousness and urgency of the need." We also aim to develop and strengthen social responsibility, solidarity, aid and consciousness and contribute to improvement.
