Ramadan Bayram Celebration At Raindrop Turkish House

Raindrop Turkish House hosted Ramadan Bayram celebration on August 17th with Turkish Americans living in College Station. Families along with their children gathered at Raindrop Turkish House. While guests were congratulating each other on Ramadan Bayram, as in the tradition guests were offered delicious Turkish dessert along with tea, guests were also offered homemade Turkish food for breakfast, and then kids got special presents and gifts along with sweets and small amount of money from the guests and Raindrop Turkish House.

Raindrop Hosted Turkish Community For A Ramadan Dinner

Raindrop Turkish House hosted the Turkish Community in College Station for Ramadan Dinners on July 20th and August 14th. Delicious soups, salads, breads, and meats are served.

Turkish people enjoyed breaking their fasts together in Raindrop Turkish House. The dinner followed with the Raindrop Turkish House presentation. It was a gathering for people not only breaking their fasts, but also letting them know each other and having conversations.

Paper Marbling Classes at Raindrop Turkish House

In collaboration with Turkish Student Association, there will be beginner level sections at Raindrop Turkish House on Saturdays at 2:00pm in the Fall 2012 semester. You don’t need any prior experience to learn this unique Turkish art. Each course section will take five weeks and there will be $50 registration fee for each section. We start our first class on September 22nd at 2:00pm. Please hurry up to register for the classes because space is limited. Registration for the Fall classes will start on September 3rd, 2012.

Raindrop Turkish House Hosted BCS Community For A Iftar Dinner

P1050099Raindrop Turkish House organized a Ramadan iftar dinner for College station and Bryan community Councilman s from Brayan and College station, Firemen and police officers were among the attendees.

Before the dinner, a presentation was made on the mission and activities of Raindrop Turkish House. It was emphasized tha tRaindrop Turkish House aims to cultivate friendship and promote the understanding of diverse cultures through its unique services to the community. After the presentation, the guests enjoyed delicious, homemade Turkish food. The night was ended with traditional Turkish tea and dessert and a chance for a chat and sharing information.

Turkish Cuisine Classes at Raindrop Turkish House, prepared food pictureHave you ever tasted delicious Turkish food? Do you want to learn more about authentic Turkish cuisine? Raindrop Turkish House offers Turkish Cuisine cooking classes.

You are going to be actively participating in creating fabulous masterpieces of Turkish cuisine during the class. Instructors will teach and help you improve your cooking skills. And of course, you are very welcome to join the feast at the end of the class!

Turkish Cuisine Classesare on Saturdays between 11 am and 1 pm. Classes will start on September 15th.
