The Institute of Interfaith Dialog and Raindrop Turkish House of Tulsa hosted Leaders of The Indian community with a dinner for a lecture program on February 17, 2011. Participants shared food from both cultures. There was delicious Indian food and Traditional Turkish Food. Before the dinner, The Institute of Interfaith Dialog Tulsa director Kamil Celik welcomed and gave a presentation about the mission and work of I.I.D. followed by a video presentation of Turkey. He mentioned Turkey's close ties with India dating back to early years of Modern Turkey. Dr. Navin Mathur, director of manufacturing at Advance Research Chemicals, Inc. spoke about India and Hinduism showing beautiful pictures and informational slides. Dr. Mathur talked about the rich history and great heritage of India and also mentioned the friendliness and hospitality of Indian culture.(February 17,2011,Tulsa,OK)
