IMG 6103 - Copy4th Annual Turkish Festival was held at Raindrop Turkish House in Tulsa on Saturday, April 27th, 2013 with a great success.

About 4,000 people attended the fourth annual Turkish Festival at the Raindrop Foundation. The event was an inviting mix of authentic Turkish food, such as doner, dolma, pastries, baklava, kabab. After tasting the delicious Turkish dishes, visitors had the pleasure of drinking Turkish Tea in the oriental corner. Water Marbling (Ebru) art was one of the focus points as the guess experienced hands-on painting on the water. Visitors had a chance to see live presentations of traditional Turkish Cini (Ceramic Art). Live Whirling Derwish performance in the festival amused visitors, many of whom had no chance to see it before. Also Turkish Folk Dances were performanced.

As a Raindrop Foundation, we really appreciate to our main sponsor, Kirkpatrick Foundation, OTACC (Oklahoma Turkish American Chamber of Commerce), TAA (Turkish Association of Oklahoma), TGA (Tulsa Global Alliance), OCCJ (The Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice), AAC Alliance (Azerbaijanian American Cultural Alliance),Indian Association (our guest Country) and all of our volunteers.
